Valerie Solanas was known for shooting Andy Warhol but most notably for her extreme and man-hating manifesto called S.C.U.M (Society for Cutting Up Men). Although a lesbian, she supported herself through prostitution and used her many experiences with men as a testimony on why the male sex should be eradicated. Many people believed that Solanas suffered from schizophrenia and therefore was dubbed the title of “crazed lesbian” but I think she was just speaking out her beliefs and making her voice heard, what’s wrong with that?
